Ingredients:
chicken, skinned and cut into small pieces – 1/2 kg
1 raw egg
1/4 cup besan flour
garam masala powder – 1 tsp
cumin powder – 1 tsp
turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
chilli powder – 11/2 tsp
1/4 cup curds
salt – 11/2 tsp
garlic ginger paste – 1 tsp
3 pinches tandoori colouring
oil for deep frying
Method:
1. Put raw chicken pieces in a bowl.
2. Add raw egg, besan flour, garam masala powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, chilli powder, curds, salt, ginger garlic paste and tandoori colouring.
3. Leave to marinate for at least half an hour.
4. Heat oil in a small kadai.
5. Deep fry, dropping 6 to 8 pieces of chicken at a time in hot oil.
6. Fry till golden brown.
Goes well with rice or as a snack
